  • Handled labor negotiations for a successor collective bargaining agreement for the operations of an Illinois facility. This was a unique negotiation as this was the first collective bargaining agreement under a new ownership group.
  • Handled the defeat of an attempt to unionize warehouse workers at a food processing plant in Illinois. This was a second attempt by the same union to be shot down.
  • Worked behind the scenes to handle a negotiation involving an international manufacturer of a food product, helping the client to achieve its goals while taking the lead.
  • Acted as national coordinating counsel for a major food processing and packaging company in connection with FDA recall of a thickening agent.
  • Defeated class alleging that a subsidiary of an international food manufacturer misrepresented its snack bar as “all natural” when the bar contained an ingredient previously found by the FDA to be synthetic.
