Litigation Attorney - Medical Malpractice (Full-Time - Indianapolis)

SmithAmundsen LLC seeks a litigation attorney to join its established Health Care practice group located in Indianapolis. Candidate must be licensed in Indiana and have a minimum of 5 years of medical malpractice defense experience. Excellent lawyering skills, including written and oral communication, analysis, negotiation and advocacy, are also required. Experience with complex discovery and writing medical review submissions is preferred. Some local travel required. Litigation Associate - Construction (Full Time - Chicago, IL)

SmithAmundsen LLC seeks a litigation associate to join the firm’s Construction Group in its Chicago office. Candidate must be licensed in Illinois and have a strong academic record.  Strong work ethic and ability to work well on a team are also required.  1 - 3 years of experience in civil litigation is preferred.  The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to continue to grow in a litigation environment.  You will be involved in all aspects of litigation, including but not limited to, attending court hearings, performing oral and written discovery, conducting legal research, and engaging in active motion practice in federal and state court.  Please submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript and 2 writing samples to attorneyresumes@salawus.com.  Please refer to Job No. CHI20DC in your cover letter.
