Michael became a lawyer because he wanted to stand up for businesses and the individuals behind them. He had hopes of owning his own business, but went to law school when he saw the need business owners had for good legal representation. As a member of our Construction Practice Group, Michael routinely represents clients in tenders of defense, recovery of workers’ compensation liens and spoliation of evidence claims.
Clients appreciate Michael’s meticulous preparation and knowledge on a case. One of his many highlights includes helping a client avoid a $13 million contribution judgment by waving his client’s workers’ compensation lien post trial.
Michael is involved with Chicago Kent’s mock trial team. He previously coached and continues to be involved as a volunteer judge during practices. He is also an Eagle Scout.
