When people ask Martha what she does for a living she tells them she solves problems. In the world of insolvency and bankruptcy the problem is usually a lack of money and rather than use up scarce resources fighting, Martha gets right to the heart of the dispute in search for a resolution. She has built long standing relationships with other attorneys that allow her to assess her clients’ prospects both before and after going to court.
Martha’s practice includes all facets of bankruptcy and insolvency representation, including secured lenders, unsecured creditors, creditors’ committees and debtors. She assists clients with the purchase of assets from insolvent entities, both inside and outside of bankruptcy. Martha also counsels clients regarding mechanic's liens and other forms of liens, as well as commercial litigation matters in connection with her practice. Martha is board certified by the American Board of Certification in Business Bankruptcy. She is a member of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Finance Counsel and St. Vincent dePaul Changing Lives Mentoring Program.
