Ama developed an interest in health care by listening to her parents discuss their days at work around the dinner table. Her father is a nuclear medicine technologist and her mother is a registered nurse. They emigrated to the U.S. from Ghana and pursued their careers while raising four kids. Ama went to law school to advocate for those who have the same passion for healing as her parents.
As a member of the Health Care Practice Group, Ama represents hospitals, nurses and doctors in medical malpractice, premises liability, professional liability and institutional liability matters.
Ama previously completed two mission trips to Ghana and speaks elementary Akan. In her free time, she volunteers with Minority Legal Education Resources, tutoring students sitting for the bar exam.
