Lawyers’ Assistance Program

The Lawyers’ Assistance Program (LAP) hosted their Annual Dinner on November 3rd at the University Club of Chicago. Michael Cortina, co-chair of the firm’s baking and financial services group, received the Executive Director’s Award for his exceptional volunteer work in raising funds and awareness for the organization.

The Lawyers’ Assistance Program’s mission is to assist lawyers, judges and law students in obtaining help for substance abuse, addiction and mental health problems. They also aim to protect clients from impaired lawyers and judges and to educate the legal community about addiction and mental health issues. Congratulations Mike!
