Two Lawyers Promoted to Partner

Attorneys Hillary Weigle and Beverly Alfon have been promoted to partner. 

Hillary Weigle is a member of the Insurance Litigation Group in the firm’s Chicago office. She has handled a vast array of matters including construction negligence, products liability, premises liability, catastrophic bodily injuries/death, property losses, fire and explosion, automobile litigation, and commercial transportation. Hillary has taken more than sixteen cases to verdict, obtaining a number of not guilty verdicts on behalf of her clients. She received her law degree from the Indiana University School of Law. 

Beverly Alfon is a member of the Labor & Employment Practice Group in the firm’s Chicago office. She garnered significant experience from the “union/plaintiff side,” and uses that valuable perspective when counseling and defending employers in the realm of traditional labor law (unions), employment law (layoffs, discrimination claims, handbooks, etc.), and ERISA (Taft-Hartley multiemployer fringe benefit funds). Beverly actively defends employers before federal and state courts and various administrative agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Illinois Department of Human Rights. She is a frequent contributor to the Labor and Employment Law Update and the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, Chamber Dispatch, blogs and a regular presenter at labor and employment seminars. Beverly received her law degree, with a certificate in labor and employment, from IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law.
