Gary Zhao Sworn in as President of Chinese American Bar Association of Chicago

On Wednesday, May 23, 2012, Gary Zhao was sworn in as the president of the Chinese American Bar Association (CABA) of Greater Chicago at the installation and awards ceremony. Gary was sworn in by Cook County Circuit Judge Laura C. Liu. The installation and awards ceremony was held at the Chicago Kent School of Law. Gary's goal as president is to renew CABA’s scholarship for Asian American law students in Chicago area law schools.

CABA is one of the pioneering Asian Pacific American bar associations in the Chicago legal community. It was established in 1985 and has been in continuous existence ever since. CABA strives not only to meet the professional networking and development needs of its members, but to use its resources and expertise to serve the public interest through legal clinics and other educational and public service programs.
