We are happy to report that Lew R.C. Bricker, a partner in the firm's Aviation Practice,  has completed a project with the Transportation Research Board. His report, entitled "Airport Commercial Ground Transportation Programs Survey of Law," examines the commercial ground transportation regulatory schemes at each of the nation's busiest airports and is featured in the Airport Cooperative Research Program's July 2008 issue of Legal Research Digest 3.

His particular survery of airport commercial ground transportation laws and regulations is intended to provide a listing of federal, state, and local commercial ground transportation rules with extensive examples of each. As of February 2008, there were over 5,000 public airports in the United States, of which over 500 maintained regularly scheduled commercial airplane service. The project includes a detailed review of the regulatory schemes at the nation's busiest and most-regulated U.S. airports.  It is an important resource for all vendors and commercial vehicle operators doing business or intending to do business at or with our nation's airports.
