Not only are builders represented by their quality of construction, they are represented by their trademarks and brand name that differentiate them from other builders. Without proper registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), a builder’s brand, slogan, mark, whatever identifies them from other builders, can lose its exclusivity.
