Human Resource Law: What you Need to Know Now

The National Business Institute hosts an all-day program covering the most recent legislative and court decisions that affect your human resources practices. This seminar is designed for attorneys, human resources professionals, accountants, presidents and vice-presidents.

Kelly Haab-Tallitsch covers the Affordable Care Act and other federal and state law developments in her session, “The Affordable Care Act and Other Developments in Employment Law (Federal and State),” to take place from 9:00 am – 9:30 am. Noah A. Frank covers wage and benefit issues including: the FLSA, wage and benefit obligations in relation to part-time and temporary employees, unpaid internships and training programs, record keeping and leave policies in his session, “Wage and Benefit Issues” to take place from 11:15 am – 12:15 pm and 1:15 pm – 1:45 pm. Other topics, such as hiring/recruiting, employee handbook updates, will be covered as well.
