With nearly 40 years of experience, Sandy concentrates his practice in all matters of construction defects and property loss, coverage, defense and recovery. He has successfully litigated cases involving construction defects, architect / engineer liability, product liability and catastrophic defense. In his trial counsel and defense of insurance and construction clients, Sandy credits his engineering background for his logical approach and comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of building and property claims.
Recently, Sandy successfully defended a general contractor in a case alleging defective construction where a wall collapsed and seriously injured 11 people. He also defended a company accused of causing a fire that resulted in damages totaling $250 million. Sandy is a frequent lecturer on property damage claims and insurance coverage issues.
