Sandra did not go to law school to become a transportation lawyer, but the clients she has developed close relationships with over the years make her so happy that she became one. For ten years, Sandra has focused her practice in all areas of commercial transportation, retail litigation and premises liability. She represents clients as part of SmithAmundsen’s Immediate Response Team, formulating on-site defense strategies, protecting privileged communications and counseling clients. Sandra also represents transportation brokers in newly emerging broker liability cases as well as truck companies and truck drivers in catastrophic loss and multi-party litigation.

Sandra’s compassionate approach as an attorney extends to her volunteer work outside the office; she is actively involved with an animal rescue organization as well as her township and church to raise money and awareness regarding homelessness and hunger in the community. She also serves as a mentor to first-year law students at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
