Cornell is used to maintaining a high standard of performance. Prior to being an attorney he was an active duty officer in the United States Marine Corps. Following in the footsteps of his mother, who is also an attorney, Cornell attended law school when his active duty was over. Today he applies his team-oriented approach to obtaining the best results for his clients.
As a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group, Cornell defends clients in various litigation matters, including premise liability, products liability, personal injury claims at large construction sites, bad faith and extra contractual claims related to insurance coverage, legal malpractice, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty.
Cornell is currently serving in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and volunteers as an usher at the Fourth Presbyterian Church on Sundays.
