Beverly strives to understand a client’s business, in order to effectively support it in reaching its goals and addressing its challenges.  She knows that solutions are not one-size-fits all.

She spent a significant part of her career representing labor unions and multi-employer fringe benefit funds, but now exclusively represents employer interests. Armed with this unique perspective and 14 years of focused experience in labor and employment law, she regularly counsels employers regarding a full range of issues -- from development of work policies and negotiation of employment and severance agreements, to strategic planning related to reductions in force, union avoidance, pickets and strikes.  Beverly also actively represents management in labor and employment litigation before state and federal courts, labor arbitrators, and administrative agencies such as the National Labor Relations Board, EEOC and Illinois Department of Human Rights.

Beverly is a frequent speaker at seminars and webinars covering labor and employment.  She is a regular contributor to the firm’s Labor and Employment Law Update and the Illinois Chamber of Commerce’ HR Illinois publication.  Her articles have been republished by Thompson's HR Compliance Expert | FMLA Compliance and Lorman Business Center’s Legal Compliance Resource.  Beverly was also a contributing author to the Illinois Chamber of Commerce’s Hiring and Firing Guide (2011).
