Diane M. Brummel
Director of Office Services
Diane is the Director of Office Services for the firm and is based in our Chicago office. In her role, she is responsible for directing and coordinating office services and related activities, including developing and supervising programs for the maximum utilization of services and equipment. Diane maintains the firm’s relationships with vendors, supervises the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, plans office layout, develops office budget, and initiates cost reduction programs. She is also responsible for the firm’s record systems and formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
Prior to joining SmithAmundsen, Diane had over twelve years of experience in administration in law firms across the country. She managed day-to-day operations and staffing functions and was responsible for all business aspects in her firms, including finance and accounting, human resources, information systems, and business services.
