Rebecca Dobbs
, a member of the SmithAmundsen's
Labor & Employment Practrice Group
, and Bob Hyatt,
Associate Employee Benefit Specialist with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network,
presented a webinar entitled "Highlights of Health Care Reform for Employers," on September 28, 2010 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm.
After months of debate, Congress pushed through the most significant health care reform legislation since the creation of the Medicare program in the 1960s. Health care reform will impact all employers and present a whole new quagmire of regulations for employer/plan sponsors to navigate through.
This seminar gave employers highlights of the information necessary to move forward in addressing the high costs associated with health care and provided insight into the health care movement and what it means for employers.
