Article by Tim Epstein Discussing Title IX Published in Chicago Daily Law Bulletin

An article written by Tim Epstein, Chair of the firm’s Sports Law Practice Group, was published in the Tuesday, June 5, 2012 edition of the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. Tim’s article is titled, “Title IX Needs Consideration of Scheduling." In his article, Tim recognizes that schools might need to refocus their efforts by adjusting how games are scheduled to meet Title IX requirements in light of recent court decisions. He suggests that schools look beyond the number of roster positions and allocation of funding in order to adequately meet the law’s requirements.
