Jurors in Illinois Permitted to Submit Written Questions to Witnesses Starting July 1, 2012
On July 1, 2012, Supreme Court Rule 243 goes into effect allowing trial judges discretion to permit jurors in civil cases to submit written questions directed to witnesses.
