On Wednesday, September 2, 2009, Lew Bricker and Sara Zorich, all members of SmithAmundsen's E-Discovery Group, presented “Saving Yourself From Yourself -- Properly and Intelligently Managing Electronically Created Information" to the Chicago Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC ) at Petterino’s Restaurant in downtown Chicago, IL. The presentation encompassed several e-discovery focal points, including:

Why should you care?
How can you manage electronically stored information?
What are the courts telling you about it?

The presenters also provided a general discussion of e-discovery issues, recent court trends, and best practices for protecting and preserving electronically generated information.
