Construction Litigation
As a premier litigation firm, we realize tough issues often face our construction clients including defective construction, performance and payment disputes, mechanics liens, OSHA compliance, insurance and regulatory requirements, and catastrophic injury claims. By challenging ourselves to stay abreast of and, where possible, ahead of industry and legal trends, we are able to counsel our clients on the most effective approaches to risk management, dispute resolution, and where necessary, litigation.
Our attorneys consistently resolve litigated matters favorably for our clients. Whether during the course of a project to resolve a dispute or when faced with unalterable events following a catastrophe, our intimate knowledge of construction law and the construction industry, extensive trial experience, and proven track record of successful courtroom decisions frequently has a two-fold
impact for our local and national clients.
In addition to the construction litigation services we offer our clients, we also have a group of highly skilled and experienced attorneys offering the following services to the industry:
Employment law professionals that counsel on EEOC, IDHR, contractual, or policy-related claims and assist in the avoidance of claims by reviewing and updating employment programs.
Workers’ compensation attorneys who counsel clients on loss prevention, risk management, safety, and OSHA/Toxic Tort matters.
Professional liability attorneys who represent architects and engineers in matters involving negligence, personal injury, construction defect, construction management, design defect, and structural defect.
Intellectual property attorneys who handle copyright and trademark protection matters including processing prosecution of trademarks and assist with patent litigation.
Financial services professionals who counsel clients, both contractors and financial institutions, in the handling of mechanics lien and surety claims matters.
Trained arbitrators and mediators skilled at representing clients in ADR prior to costly and protracted litigation.
