As a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, Andrew focuses his practice in civil litigation, primarily representing clients in defense of catastrophic events, construction related matters, and professional malpractice claims. Andrew’s experience includes being responsible for the handling of complex cases with multi-million dollar exposures, from the inception of the case through resolution. He has successfully tried several cases on behalf of clients, and he has also favorably resolved many cases through dispositive motions, mediation, and arbitration.
Andrew has represented a wide variety of clients in the defense of personal injury and property damages claims, from construction companies and subcontractors to manufacturers, transportation companies, and all manner of commercial entities. His professional liability defense experience includes representation of design professionals, both engineers and architects, as well as legal professionals, including both attorneys and judges, in all aspects of professional malpractice claims, whether claims for legal malpractice, breach of contract, disciplinary action, or for sanctions. His professional liability experience also includes representation of insurance professionals and agents in defense of professional negligence and errors and omissions claims.
Andrew has received a preeminent AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell for his legal ability and ethics. He is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the Federal District Court for the Central and Northern Districts of Illinois.
