Wayne E Rapp III

Wayne is an associate in SmithAmundsen’s Chicago office and is a member of the firm’s Commercial Transportation practice group.
Prior to joining the firm, Wayne gained experience at the Loyola University Community Law Clinic, the Office of the Illinois Attorney General’s Special Litigation Bureau, and several other Chicago area organizations devoted to the legal community. Additionally, in 2009, Wayne served as a law clerk to Linda Liu & Partners in Bejing, China where he assisted patent attorneys on litigation issues involving their European and Japanese clients.
While in law school, Wayne acted as captain of the Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court team. He received first place overall and second place brief in the 2009 National Health Law Moot Court competition and was a semifinalist in the Spring 2010 Loyola University Chicago School of Law Intraschool Moot Court competition. Wayne also participated as the staff editor of the Consumer Law Review (2010-2011) and the associate editor of the Public Interest Law Reporter (2010-2011).
Before attending law school, Wayne taught social studies for several years at a high school in the Western suburbs of Chicago.
Wayne is licensed to practice in Illinois.
