As a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, Ken’s practice includes both civil litigation and insurance coverage work, primarily focusing on the defense of professional malpractice claims. Ken’s experience includes involvement in all phases of the litigation process, from investigation through trial as well as alternative dispute resolution methods. He has successfully tried several cases and personally handled over 30 arbitrations and settlement proceedings.
Ken represents insureds, most commonly attorneys, in all aspects of professional malpractice lawsuits, including claims for damages in the handling of underlying lawsuits, property matters, and other proceedings. Ken has also represented insurers in litigation with respect to their obligations towards their insureds and assisted them in claim counseling. This portion of Ken’s practice includes the handling of issues involving commercial, primary, umbrella, excess, and professional lines of insurance.
While attending law school, Ken was a member of the International Moot Court Team and Vice President of Phi Alpha Delta.
