Kelly M. Konzen
Associate
Kelly Konzen is an associate in SmithAmundsen’s Chicago office and is a member of the firm’s Construction and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups.
Prior to joining SmithAmundsen, Kelly gained extensive experience as lead defense trial counsel taking 35 jury trials to verdict. In addition, she represented clients in over 100 arbitrations involving bodily injury and property damage disputes within Cook County’s Mandatory Arbitration program, as well as the American Arbitration Association. Kelly further honed her skills with constant involvement in discovery and evidence depositions. As a result, in a relatively short time, Kelly has been fortunate enough to develop litigation and jury trial skills in excess of significantly more “senior” attorneys.
In law school, Kelly was a member of the Kent Justice Foundation and served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for minors in the Juvenile Justice and Child Protection Department. She was awarded the Chicago-Kent Certificate of Service for her efforts with CASA in April 2009.
Kelly is licensed to practice in Illinois.
