Matthew W. Horn
Associate
Matthew is an associate in SmithAmundsen’s Chicago office, and is a member of the firm’s Construction Practice Group. In that capacity, Matthew specializes in representing contractors, developers, and owners in mechanics lien, breach of contract, construction defect, property damage, personal injury, and OSHA-related litigation. In addition, he is well-versed in eminent domain law, and has significant experience representing owners whose properties have been taken by condemning authorities.
Matthew is a proven advocate for SmithAmundsen’s clients and consistently obtains successful outcomes for those clients by way of negotiation, dispositive motion, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
