Sandra Franco is a partner in SmithAmundsen’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Commercial & Banking Litigation, Finance & Corporate Lending, and Banking Operations Practice Groups where she focuses her practice in commercial litigation, banking law, and real estate law. Sandra was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2005 and to the United States District Court bar in 2006.
Sandra represents financial institutions in mortgage foreclosures, bankruptcy, negotiating and drafting contracts including promissory notes, mortgages, security agreements and workout agreements. She also represents business entities and individuals in real estate transactions, forming corporations, limited liability companies and other legal entities and maintaining legal entity status by preparing by-laws, operating agreements and annual reports.
In addition to her practice, Sandra is a volunteer attorney with Minority Legal Education Resources, Inc. where she tutors and prepares prospective attorneys for the Illinois Bar Exam. Sandra is fluent in Spanish.
