Kyra is an associate in SmithAmundsen’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Commercial Transportation Practice Group. Additionally, she is a member of the firm's Diversity Task Force. Kyra has taken several matters to arbitration with favorable outcomes for her clients. She also recently completed a jury trial to verdict, earning a beneficial result for her client.
Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Kyra worked as a summer associate for SmithAmundsen. Kyra was also a student advocate for the Unemployment Appeals Clinic at the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, a law clerk at the Waukesha County Courthouse, an assistant to the Policy Director at the Office of the Lt. Governor in Madison, Wisconsin, and a student researcher for the Lt. Governor's Wisconsin Women Equal Prosperity Project.
Kyra attended the University of Wisconsin Law School where she was a Knapp Fellow recipient of an academic scholarship.
Kyra is licensed to practice in the state of Illinois, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, and the state of Wisconsin.
