Associate

Samantha Esmond is an associate in SmithAmundsen’s Rockford office and is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group.

Samantha has extensive experience researching and analyzing various aspects of federal and state labor and employment law. Her areas of labor and employment law include wage and hour matters under the FSLA, employment discrimination disputes under Title VII, Section 1981, ADA, FMLA, and the Illinois Human Rights Act. During her years of experience, she has drafted and reviewed various motions, opposition memoranda, reply briefs, charges of discrimination, discovery requests, and requests and correspondance to clients and opposing counsel. She has also presented and argued motions in federal court as well as conduct and defend depositions.

Samantha is licensed to practice in Illinois.
