Associate

Rayen is an associate in SmithAmundsen’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Insurance Services Group. Rayen’s practice focuses on the representation of individuals, corporations, and other business enterprises in connection with a wide variety of matters including, wrongful death, catastrophic loss, property damage, and premises liability.

Within the firm, Rayen is the co-chair of the firm’s Diversity Task Force and an active participant in the summer associate hiring process.

Rayen attended the University of Wisconsin Law School where she was Note and Comment Editor for both the Wisconsin International Law Journal and the Wisconsin Journal of Law Gender and Society, and a member of the faculty hiring committee. A native of Chile, Rayen is fluent in Spanish and has worked as a translator in various capacities including the Family Court Assistance Project in Madison, Wisconsin. Prior to joining the firm Rayen interned for Judge Ebert of the Dane County District Court.
