Craig A. Cappas
Partner
Craig Cappas is a partner in the Chicago office of SmithAmundsen and Chair of the firm’s Retail Practice Group where he concentrates his practice on premises liability and retail matters, including security cases at retail establishments involving allegations of false arrest and malicious prosecution. Furthermore, Craig works on a variety of toxic tort claims, absestos matters, pharmacy litigation, product liability cases, and is an arbitrator for the Cook County Arbitration Program. He has been lead counsel on over fifty jury trials in his career and has conducted over two hundred mandatory arbitrations. Craig is also AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell for his legal ability and ethics.
