Molly is a partner in the Toxic, Environmental, and Mass Tort Practice Group and the firm’s Labor & Employment/Class Action group.
She concentrates her practice in defending a wide variety of class and collective actions, including matters grounded in consumer fraud, data privacy, and statutory violations, including the Telephone Communications Protection Act (TCPA) and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and claims alleging exposure to asbestos, benzene and silica. She also has extensive experience defending claims arising out of claims of contaminated soil or groundwater brought under CERCLA, the Clean Water Act, RCRA, and their state counterparts.
Molly’s professional experience involves all phases of litigation including preliminary investigation, motion practice and final resolution through settlement and jury trial.She has also co-authored several appellate briefs.
Prior to joining the firm, Molly was a Paralegal Specialist for the United States Department of Justice, Civil Division, in Washington, D.C., focusing on corporate and financial litigation. While there, she provided assistance at a trial regarding a multi-million dollar bankruptcy claim by the United States against a telecommunications company.
Molly is licensed to practice in Wisconsin and Illinois. In addition to her legal practice, Molly has been involved in mentoring young lawyers through the firm’s Summer Associate Program which she chairs. She has lectured at Northwestern University Law School regarding Toxic and Environmental Torts in Class Action lawsuits. In 2011, Molly was named to the Illinois Rising Stars* list, a peer review designation published by Law & Politics magazine.
